If you build sample libraries or work with big folders of samples, you know the worst part isn't the sound design — it's everything after. Renaming files. Mapping samples across the keyboard. Building instruments by hand, one zone at a time.

Samplework is a desktop app I built to remove that work. Point it at a folder of samples and an output folder — it reads the filenames, detects pitch, builds the key map, and writes ready-to-play SFZ instruments.

It goes beyond basic mapping: round-robin and palette-based variation, temporal slice mapping, combining multiple packs into one instrument, seeded randomization so variant outputs stay repeatable. I use it in production for every Spektralisk sample release.
